Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of NeuroVox, a real-time AI-powered voice and text translation bot for Discord, accessible via the Discord platform and the website neuro-vox.online.

By accessing the service or subscribing to a plan, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.

2. Service Provider

NeuroVox is operated by an individual entrepreneur based in France.

Hosting: IONOS SE (VPS servers located in Europe).
Payments: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.

3. Service Description

NeuroVox provides a real-time voice and text translation service on Discord, available in several plans:

  • Free Plan (€0): voice translation limited to 30 minutes per day, 5 languages, 10 text translations/day, standard voice.
  • Starter Plan (€2.99/month): 2 hours of voice translation per day, 24+ languages with auto-detection, unlimited text translations.
  • Pro Plan (€9.99/month): unlimited 24/7 voice translation, HD OpenAI voice, translation history, priority support.
  • Server Plan (€19.99/month): whole channel translated, HD voice, unlimited, translation history, priority support.

Full feature details for each plan are available on the Pricing page. NeuroVox reserves the right to update features and pricing with 30 days' notice.

4. Registration and Account

Access to the service requires a valid Discord account. By signing in via Discord OAuth2, you authorize NeuroVox to access the following information:

  • Your Discord ID (unique identifier)
  • Your Discord username
  • Your email address associated with your Discord account

This data is used exclusively for account and subscription management. It is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are displayed in euros (€) including tax.
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe, a global leader in online payments. Your banking details never pass through our servers.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically at each billing cycle.
  • A payment receipt is sent by email at each billing cycle via Stripe.
  • In case of payment failure, the subscription is marked as "past due" and the plan is downgraded to the Free plan until the issue is resolved.

6. Right of Withdrawal

As a digital service whose execution begins immediately upon subscription, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the service has been accessed. By subscribing and using the service, you expressly acknowledge and waive your right of withdrawal.

7. Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard at neuro-vox.online/dashboard.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.
  • No prorated refunds are provided for the remaining period.
  • After cancellation, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan.

8. Plan Changes

You can change your plan (upgrade or downgrade) at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

9. Service Availability

NeuroVox strives to maintain the service available 24/7. The service is hosted on IONOS VPS servers located in Europe, ensuring low latency and high availability.

However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or force majeure. NeuroVox will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance via the official Discord server.

10. Acceptable Use

Use of the service is subject to the following rules. You may not:

  • Use the service for illegal, fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass technical plan limitations (quotas, restrictions).
  • Intentionally overload servers or conduct attacks (DDoS, brute force, etc.).
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service.
  • Use the service for harassment, hate speech, or any content violating Discord's Terms of Service.
  • Automate bot usage in an abusive manner (scripts, third-party bots).

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund or prior notice.

11. Data Protection

NeuroVox is committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.

  • Voice data is processed in real time and is not permanently stored.
  • Payment data is managed exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
  • You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

12. Limitation of Liability

The NeuroVox service is provided "as is." While we use state-of-the-art AI technologies (OpenAI Whisper, GPT), we do not guarantee absolute translation accuracy.

  • NeuroVox shall not be held liable for translation errors or their consequences.
  • In no event shall NeuroVox's liability exceed the total amount paid by the user in the preceding 3 months.
  • NeuroVox shall not be liable for damages resulting from temporary service unavailability, force majeure, or non-compliant use.

13. Affiliate Program

NeuroVox offers an affiliate program allowing participants to earn a recurring 20% commission on every payment from referred users. Full program details are available on the Affiliate page. NeuroVox reserves the right to suspend or modify the program at any time.

14. Intellectual Property

The NeuroVox service, including its source code, design, text, logos, and content, is protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.

15. Changes to Terms

NeuroVox reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantive changes via email or the official Discord server. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first seek an amicable resolution. Failing that, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the publisher's jurisdiction.
